BU attracts students from more countries than are represented in the United Nations. Our global presence and reputation are important and are reflected in the perspectives, opinions, and experiences of our students. Why is this type of environment important to you?

I am interested in enrolling in BU because of many reasons. First, I was greatly attracted by the fact that the institution attracts students from all countries of the world. This is a clear indication of the institution’s positive image and reputation. I am particularly keen to be associated with BU’s efforts to reach out to a global population.

However, the decision to join BU is also driven by a strong career desire as well as a personal quest for professional excellence. I am keen to tap into the global experiences amassed by teaching staff members at BU in their encounters with students from all countries of the world. At BU, I am confident that all instructors, tutors, teachers, and administrators are reliably informed on the current affairs in all regions of the world. For this reason, I am confident that I will not start feeling alienated upon joining BU for my further studies.

As Ladd (1999) points out, the global working environment is becoming increasingly challenging for professionals of today. Owing the reputation that BU has managed to cultivate, I am sure that many intelligent students are increasingly choosing to join the institution. I would like to have an opportunity to meet with such like-minded learners and to interact with them both intellectually and at the social level. As an international student, I am keen to see how different learners from different parts of the world can be in terms of culture. My adventurous instincts are also compelling me towards the pursuit of knowledge on the universal similarities among all humanity. I consider this type of environment highly valuable for me because I am confident that it will transform my perspectives as I prepare to enter into the job market.
