Answer
I went to Borer Campesino high school in school, and later on to Saber College in Miami Florida, graduating in the year 2015. In terms of professional background, I work as a registered nurse at Kendall regional hospital within the emergency department. My short-term goal is to establish a career in nursing. I look forward to a time when I will be contributing immensely to community healthcare. Upon college completion in Miami, I realized that I needed to be keen on the art of writing in addition to the pursuit of professionalism in nursing.
Today, I work as a registered nurse within the Kendall regional hospital within the emergency department. Using this opportunity, I seek to reach out to my short- and long-term goals, all of which relate to the pursuit of professionalism and career success. My choice of Grand Canyon University was largely influenced by the environment of diversity that it provides, its Christian values, and the wide range of extracurricular activities that it offers. Upon completing my BSN program at the institution, I expect to have acquired the necessary technical and leadership skills necessary to advance my nursing career.
I am highly optimistic of the numerous opportunities that the expertise will expose me to. To begin with, the sheer joy of interacting with patients and contributing to their wellbeing is a major motivator for the pursuit of the BSN qualifications. My short-term goal is greatly motivated by the desire to use my interpersonal skills and professional competence to contribute positively to my country’s healthcare system. In the long run, I intend to join public service as a policymaker. Upon acquiring tremendous experience both on the career and leadership fronts, the best chance to exert tremendous influence on the lives of most citizens comes at the policymaking level (Mason, Leavitt and Chaffee 138; Kurtzman and Corrigan 24; Dingel-Stewart and LaCoste 213). When that time comes, I would like to advocate for healthcare reform in order to enhance access and outcomes particularly for low-income groups in society.
