Further, the author suggests that the guardian are solely responsible for behavioral interventions, and need to understand social interventions to reverse the negative impacts of domestic violence to children. The author states that “we need to recognize that children by looking for symptom control and counseling them.”Further, the author indicates that children require trauma-informed or focused therapy. These interventions are likely to fail if caregivers for the children directly informedtheestablishment of a supportive environment.

Most importantly, the counselors can develop a valid psychological support to victim children who experience domestic violence.

The Taxis family codes on domestic value provide a very an overview of child abuse and neglect. It also emphasizes on how educators can respond to poorly treated children. The first manual in this series focused on identifying and reporting child abuse and how this information is relevant to the counseling profession in professional development as a future counselor. The document also mentions the importance of coordinated response, suitable in prohibiting domestic violence. Most importantly, the document mentioned how Safety. All children are entited to live in an environment free from abuse. The term ‘Permanency’ was also introduced in the second half of the article. All in all, Texas Codes emphasizes that a sense of connectedness is central to an individual’s development, and can be enhanced by the physical, emotional, educational, and social needs of children to promote the healthy development of family relationships.
